Nanako Nakajima

Nanako Nakajima is a dance researcher and dramaturg. She is the Valeska Gert- Visiting Professor for Dance and Performance (2019/20), Freie Universität Berlin, and received the 2017 Special Commendation of Elliott Hayes Award from the Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas. The Aging Body in Dance

The idea of choreography can be “flexible”, although people tend to think it is fixed. This means that even if the body gets stiffer, older, the choreography can be embodied fully by those dancing bodies.
