THE DANCEHOUSE DIARY is a free intermittent publication published by Dancehouse Melbourne Australia. The publication invites an international cross-disciplinary approach with a view to articulating the many and subtle connections between the moving body, the body politic and the body social. Its aim it to activate creative thinking regarding how we choreograph our place in the world.
THE DANCEHOUSE DIARY was founded by Dancehouse’s Artistic Director Angela Conquet in 2012. It is edited by Angela Conquet and Dancehouse’s Creative Advisor, Dr. Philipa Rothfield, with the assistance of issue-specific guest editors. It is published once per year, sometimes less frequently, when the world goes too fast. The paper edition is conceived as a gift to the reader, an invitation to feel the thought and hold the time.
